GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates seeking admission into the University must satisfy the following requirements:

Candidates must have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 150 and above.

Candidates must have chosen SDU as their First Choice institution during JAMB registration. Candidates who did not initially choose the University must effect a Change of Institution through the JAMB Portal.

Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or its equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply, provided such results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS before admission consideration.

Direct Entry (DE) candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as ND or equivalent from recognized institutions with at least Upper Credit or its equivalent.

Candidates are expected to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal at any accredited CBT centres.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Visit the University via https://www.sdu.edu.ng

Click on “Admissions” and select “Post-UTME Application”.

Complete the online registration form.

Make payment of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira Only). Pay with your preferred payment platform online.

Upload all required documents and submit the application.

Print the acknowledgement slip for reference.

CLOSE OF APPLICATION

The online application portal for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise will close on FRIDAY, 10TH JULY, 2026.
