RIVERS STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES & MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Applications are officially invited from suitably qualified candidates for the 2026/2027 Post UTME Screening Exercise. The screening is for admission into various National Diploma (ND) and B.Sc. Social Work programmes (the latter in affiliation with the University of Port Harcourt) at the Rivers State College of Health Science & Management Technology, Oro-Owo, Rumueme, Port Harcourt.

School of Medical Imaging Technology
Programme: National Diploma (ND) in Medical Imaging Technology (MIT)
UTME Cut-off Mark: 100
Requirements: Five (5) O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics obtained at not more than two sittings.
School of Health Information Mgt.
Programme: National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Mgt. (HIM)
UTME Cut-off Mark: 100
Requirements: Five (5) O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics obtained at not more than two sittings.
School of Environmental Health Technology
Programme: National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology (EHT)

Requirements for BET: Five (5) O’ level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and at least a pass in English Language obtained at not more than two sittings.
Requirements for Orthopaedic Cast Technology: Five (5) O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and two other subjects chosen from Food & Nutrition/Home Management, Agricultural Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, and Technical Drawing.

Programme: National Diploma (ND) in Public Health Technology
UTME Cut-off Mark: 100
Requirements: Five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE ‘O’ Level at not more than two (2) sittings. The subject combination must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics.
School of Community Health
Programmes & Requirements:
National Diploma (ND) in Community Health: Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC or NECO) or GCE at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics.
National Diploma (ND) in Dispensing Opticianry: Five (5) credit passes in WAEC or NECO at not more than two sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any other two (2) science subjects from Chemistry, Biology/Health Science, Agriculture, and Technical Drawing.
National Diploma (ND) in Paramedic Technology: Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC or NECO) or GCE which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.

School of Business and Management Science
Programme: National Diploma (ND) in Business Administration
UTME Cut-off Mark: 100
Requirements: WASC, GCE ‘O’ Level, or Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) or their equivalent with five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics, plus two other subjects chosen from Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric Science/Biology.
School of Medical Laboratory Science
Programme: National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technology
UTME Cut-off Mark: 100
Requirements: Five (5) credit passes in WAEC or NECO at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
School of Social Work
Programmes & Requirements:
National Diploma (ND) in Social Development (SD): Five (5) O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any three chosen from Civil Education, Government, History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Knowledge, Health Science, Biology, Nutrition, Economics, Commerce, and Geography obtained at not more than two sittings. (UTME Cut-off: 100)
B.Sc. Social Work (in affiliation with the University of Port Harcourt): Five (5) O’ level credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE or NECO which must include English Language, Mathematics, and any other three (3) subjects chosen from Economics, Literature, Civic Education, Geography, Commerce, Government/History, CRK/Arts, or Biology at not more than two sittings. (UTME Cut-off: 150)
Eligibility
Only candidates who sat for the 2026/2027 UTME and scored 100 and above for National Diploma programmes, or 150 and above for the B.Sc. Social Work programme, can apply.
Candidates who did not initially choose the Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology can also apply, provided they complete a Change of Course through JAMB and make the College their first choice.
O’ Level Upload: All candidates must upload their O’ level results on the JAMB portal. Candidates who fail to do so will not be considered for admission.
Age Limit: Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or above by September 30, 2026, to be eligible for the screening exercise.
Communication: Applicants must provide valid and functional telephone contacts, as the College will not be held liable for any failure to receive text message notifications.

Registration for admission is strictly online and commences on 29th May and ends on Friday, 3rd July, 2026.

Click on ‘Register Now’ under the 2026-2027 Post UTME Admission Application link.
Enter your personal details, including a unique email address and mobile number, and select your desired programme of study.
Click on ‘Register’ to generate a unique username and password.
Log into your dashboard using the provided credentials.
Pay the registration fee of #2,000 and a portal access fee of #3,000.
Click on ‘Registration Form’ to complete your application process.
(Alternatively, applicants can visit the College ICT Department for ease of registration.)
