NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY, KEFFI (NSUK) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The general public is hereby notified that registration for the 2026/2027 online Post-UTME screening begins on 17th July, 2026 and ends on the 30th September, 2026. Candidates are to register by visiting the University POST-UTME portal, https://ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application
A. ELIGIBILITY
UTME Applicants
To be eligible for the screening exercise, a candidate MUST:
i. Have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have chosen Nasarawa State University, Keffi as 1st Choice of Institution in the 2026 UTME.
ii. Have scored not less than the following score:
Accounting: 170
Business Administration: 170
Civil Engineering: 180
Chemical Engineering: 180
Electrical Electronics Engineering: 180
Community Health Science: 180
Environmental Health Management: 170
Health information Management: 170
Nutrition & Dietetics: 170
Law: 200
Computer Science: 170
Cyber Security: 170
Microbiology: 170
Science Laboratory Technology: 170
All other programmes: 160
iii. Possess at least five (5) “O” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and/or NBAIS and other relevant examination bodies.
iv. Upload “O” Level Results on JAMB Profile at JAMB accredited CBT centres.
NOTE: Mathematics and French in O’level have been waived for candidates who applied for French.
Direct Entry Applicants
For Direct Entry Applicants, Candidates MUST:
i. Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight (8) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry,
v. ii. Possess at least five (5) “O” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and/or NBAIS and other relevant examination bodies
iii. Upload “O” Level Results on JAMB Profile at JAMB accredited CBT centres.
NOTE: Direct Entry candidates into Community Health, Environmental Health Science and Health Information Management MUST be licensed by their respective professional bodies and evidence of same must be uploaded during POST-UTME.
B. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only through the following steps:
i. Visit the Nasarawa State University 2026 Post-UTME Screening Portal at www.ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application
ii. Create an account/Profile Set-up
iii. On creating Profile, fill the open forms as follows:
a. Click application type and select 2026/2027 POST-UTME application
b. Provide an e-mail address and password
c. Verify e-mail with OTP
iv. Login with the e-mail and Password used in creating an account/profile
v. Fill in your personal information
vi. For Direct Entry (DE) applicants only, supply A’level details
vii. Select payment for Screening through the available options
viii. Provide/input your scratch card for the result obtained (NECO/NABTEB/WAEC/NBAIS/other relevant examination bodies)
ix. Application completed.
x. Screening in Progress
xi. Check back after 24 hours for result
xii. Print out the Application Summary/Payment Invoice.
Note: Candidates MUST ensure that their online POST-UTME Screening is successful; as only candidates whose Screening is successful shall be considered for admission. Candidates should also note that, phone number used in filling this application MUST be that of the candidate.
C. COMPULSORY UPLOAD OF “O” LEVEL AND “A” LEVEL RESULTS ON JAMB PROFILE
UTME and Direct Entry candidates should note that in addition to the online Post-UTME Registration, they are equally required to visit JAMB accredited CBT Centres to upload their “O” Level / “A” Level results on their JAMB profile. Failure to do this, renders candidates ineligible for admission.
D. NON-ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION ON CAPS AFTER (4) WEEKS
Candidates are advised to MONITOR their admission status on their JAMB portal. There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions MUST be accepted by the candidates. Failure of a candidate to accept the admission where offered, shall lead to the cancellation of such admission, and the candidate would be placed under the “refusal to accept category” and be rendered ineligible to be re-admitted.
E. Candidates should also note that the ONLINE POST-UTME Screening is MANDATORY. Any candidate who FAILS to participate would not be considered for admission.
F. IMPORTANT NOTICE ON PROGRAMME CHANGE
Candidates are requested to note the following vital updates:
i. Mass Communication has been unbundled, therefore candidates who initially selected Mass Communication MUST change their course to any of the following specific programmes: Journalism and Media Studies, Broadcasting, or Public Relations
ii. Nasarawa State University, Keffi DOES NOT offer Estate Management. Affected candidates are advised to effect change of course to either Building Technology or Architecture.
iii. Candidates who applied for Agriculture MUST change to any of the specialized options available as follows: Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Science, Agronomy, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, or Forestry and Wildlife Management
