MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, UMUDIKE (MOUAU) RELEASES 5th BATCH ADMISSION LIST FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION 

The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, has released the 5th batch of its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university made this known through its official channels, informing candidates who applied for admission into its various programmes to check their status.

The release of the 5th batch follows the earlier batches published by the university after the screening exercise. After reviewing the results and the available spaces in each programme, the management selected more successful candidates based on the approved admission requirements.

The 5th batch contains the names of additional candidates who have been offered admission. Candidates who participated in the screening exercise and have not yet seen their names in the earlier batches are advised to check this one carefully.

HOW TO CHECK THE ADMISSION LIST ON THE SCHOOL PORTAL

Candidates can check their admission status by following these steps:

1. Open a web browser on your phone or computer and go to the school portal at https://portal.mouau.edu.ng

2. Click on the Admission or Check Admission Status link on the portal.

3. Enter your JAMB registration number in the space provided.

4. Select the 2026/2027 academic session, where required.

5. Click on Submit or Check Status.

6. Your admission status will be displayed on the screen. If you have been admitted, you will see your course of admission.

7. Print or save a copy of the result for your records.

WHAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES SHOULD DO

Candidates whose names appear in the 5th batch are advised to follow these procedures:

1. Log in to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and accept the admission offer.

2. Print the JAMB admission letter from the JAMB portal.

3. Pay the acceptance fee on the school portal and print the receipt.

4. Complete the registration process on the school portal and fill in the required personal details.

5. Pay the school fees and other charges, then print the payment receipts.

6. Prepare all the original documents needed for physical clearance, including O’Level results, birth certificate, certificate of state of origin, passport photographs, JAMB result slip and admission letter.

7. Report to the university for physical screening and clearance on the date stated by the management.

8. Complete course registration and matriculation as directed.

Candidates are reminded that failure to complete these steps within the stipulated time may result in the loss of the admission offer.

WHAT CANDIDATES WHO DID NOT SEE THEIR NAMES SHOULD DO

Candidates who do not see their names in the 5th batch should not lose hope. Admission lists are usually released in batches, so more names may be added in the coming days. Such candidates are advised to keep checking the school portal and the official channels of the university for the next batches.

WARNING AGAINST FRAUDSTERS

The management of the university advised candidates and parents to rely only on the official channels of the institution and JAMB for information about admission. Candidates should avoid dealing with fraudsters or so-called agents who may demand money in exchange for admission, as admission is given strictly on merit.
