FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, IKOT-ABASI (FUTIA) RELEASES SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking supplementary admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Eligible applicants must have selected FUTIA as their First Choice institution in the 2026 UTME and obtained a minimum score of 160 and above.

Candidates who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply for supplementary admission by considering a change to any of the available programmes listed below.

REGISTRATION PERIOD

The University online registration is still on going. Interested candidates are advised to take advantage of this Supplementary Admissions to register for available programmes. Following JAMB’s scheduled closure of the 2026 admissions process on 31st October, 2026, candidates are urged to utilize the remaining days to change their institution and/or programme of choice to the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, where necessary, and complete their registration within the stipulated period. Candidates who fail to register within the Registration window will not be considered for admissions in the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

1. Visit http://portal.futia.edu.ng and click on “Click here to apply”.

2. Go to “Apply Now” at the top menu bar and click “Undergraduate”.

3. Complete the basic information page (Please note: Enter only valid phone number and email address) and click next.

4. On the payment review page, click on “Make Payment” and this will take you to the payment page.

5. Confirm your payment details and click submit

6. Enter ATM card (Mastercard, Visa or Verve) number and other details as appropriate and submit.

7. Enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment.

8. After a successful payment, click on “Main login” on the portal; enter your Jamb registration number and Surname as password.

9. Click on “Login” button and complete your registration.

10. Ensure you print completed registration form and payment receipt.
