KANO STATE POLYTECHNIC ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE ON POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

The School of Continuing Education and Postgraduate Studies (SCEPS), Kano State Polytechnic, hereby issues an important update for all newly admitted students and prospective applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

As the institution prepares for a robust semester of advanced technical and management training, students are urged to take note of the following critical dates and administrative deadlines to ensure their academic standing is secured.

I. COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES

To maintain the integrity of the academic calendar and ensure the timely completion of the syllabus, the school management has finalized the start date for instructional activities:

• Lecture Start Date: Friday, 17th April 2026

• Programmes Affected: All Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) specializations.

• Instruction: All admitted students are expected to be present at their respective lecture venues. Detailed timetables will be available at the departmental offices within the school.

II. FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE & PORTAL CLOSURE

While the application portal is currently accepting new entries, this window of opportunity is rapidly closing. Prospective students and newly admitted candidates must complete all registration formalities before the cutoff.

• Status: The application portal remains Open for a limited time.

• Closing Date: Thursday, 30th April 2026

• Administrative Action: The portal and the formal registration exercise will be deactivated at 12:00 Midnight on the closing date. No further extensions will be granted beyond this period.
