IMO STATE UNIVERSITY (IMSU) RELEASES POST-UTME SCREENING SCHEDULE FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The general public is hereby informed that the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise of the Imo State University, Owerri, has been officially scheduled to take place from Tuesday 16th to Saturday 20th September, 2025. This screening is an important part of the university’s admission process and is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission into any undergraduate programme for the 2025/2026 academic session through either UTME or Direct Entry.

All prospective candidates who successfully completed their registration for the screening exercise are strongly advised to prepare adequately for the exercise and ensure that they comply with all instructions given by the university. The screening will serve as an avenue to assess the eligibility and academic preparedness of applicants before final admission consideration is granted.

Candidates are expected to visit the UNIVERSITY’S PORTAL starting from Monday, 1st September, 2025 to reprint their examination slips. These slips will contain vital information such as the date, time, and venue of their screening. Candidates are required to input their JAMB Registration Numbers correctly in order to access and print the slips.

It is important that candidates come to the screening venue with their printed examination slips, as no candidate will be allowed into the venue without proper identification. All candidates are also expected to adhere strictly to the scheduled dates and ensure punctuality on their assigned days.

The management of Imo State University urges all candidates to take this exercise seriously, as performance in the screening will contribute significantly to the final selection for admission.
