School of Information and Communication Technology (SICT)

Artificial Intelligence (AIN)

O’Level Subjects Required: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Biology, Geography, Computer Studies, Data Processing, or Information and Communication Technology.

Compulsory UTME Subjects: Mathematics and Physics.

Elective UTME Subjects: Biology and Chemistry.

JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 200.

Intelligence and Security Studies (ISS)

O’Level Subjects Required: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Further Mathematics, Biology, Geography, or Technical Drawing.

Compulsory UTME Subjects: Mathematics and Physics.

Elective UTME Subjects: Biology and Chemistry.

JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 170.

School of Infrastructure, Process Engineering and Technology (SIPET)

Nuclear Engineering (NCE)

O’Level Subjects Required: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Further Mathematics, Biology, Geography, or Technical Drawing.

Compulsory UTME Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 180.

Mining Engineering (MNE)

O’Level Subjects Required: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Further Mathematics, Biology, Geography, or Technical Drawing.

School of Life Sciences (SLS)

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WSH)

O’Level Subjects Required: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Geography.

Elective UTME Subjects: Physics and Mathematics.

School of Physical Sciences (SPS)

Nuclear Science (NCS)

O’Level Subjects Required: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography, or Technical Drawing.

Compulsory UTME Subjects: Physics and Mathematics.

Elective UTME Subjects: Biology and Chemistry.

JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 180.

The Application Process

To register for the University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE), prospective candidates are required to follow these sequential steps on the official school portal:

Verify Eligibility: Visit the official portal via https://eportal.futminna.edu.ng and review the specific departmental requirements to confirm that your JAMB subject combination and O’Level credits align with your chosen course.

Initialize Application: Locate the screening login section and input your JAMB Registration Number alongside your JAMB Score to validate your status as a first-choice applicant who has met the designated cut-off marks.

Generate Invoice and Pay: After checking your profile information, navigate to the payment tab to generate a unique Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) invoice. Proceed to pay the non-refundable screening fee of two thousand Naira (₦2,000) only. Payment can be made online via a debit card, internet banking, or by presenting the generated slip at any commercial bank branch.

Fill the Registration Form: Re-login to the e-portal to confirm payment confirmation and accurately complete the online registration fields with your correct personal and contact details.

Upload Credentials: Input your verified O’Level grades (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) exactly as they appear on your profile. Candidates awaiting results may proceed but must update the portal as soon as their results are released. Ensure all inputs strictly match the details uploaded to your JAMB CAPS record.

Final Submission: Do a comprehensive review of all entries before final submission. Once sent, download and print out the official FUTMINNA UPASE Registration Slip to keep for future physical clearance exercises.
