FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, BABURA (FUTB) ANNOUNCES FREE TUITION FOR B.SC MATHEMATICS & PHYSICS PROGRAMMES FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) has approved a 100% waiver of tuition and school fees for candidates admitted into its B.Sc Mathematics and B.Sc Physics programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the university, the initiative is part of its commitment to promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medical Sciences (STEMM) education and encouraging more students to pursue careers in the sciences. The university noted that the decision is aimed at addressing the shortage of skilled manpower in STEM-related fields and supporting national development.

The tuition waiver applies to the following undergraduate programmes:

• B.Sc Mathematics
• B.Sc Physics
