FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE & TECHNOLOGY, OKEHO (FUNATO) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) is a specialised institution dedicated to advancing agricultural education, scientific innovation, and technology-driven solutions to food security and sustainable development.

Guided by its vision and mission of integrating teaching, research, and practical application, the University is committed to producing skilled graduates for impactful service.

In furtherance of this mandate, FUNATO invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its National Universities Commission (NUC) approved undergraduate programmes through UTME (100 Level) and 200 Level Direct Entry for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

1. Information on Application

Application for the Online Admission Screening Exercise shall commence on Monday 15th June, 2026 and close on Monday 31st August, 2026.

Candidates should note that there may be no extension of the registration period.

2. Candidates’ Eligibility for Screening

i. Only candidates who chose or changed their university of choice to the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho and who scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME are eligible to participate in the Online Admission Screening Exercise.

ii. Candidates with wrong UTME subject combination for chosen programme are required to change to the appropriate programme on JAMB CAPS before registration on FUNATO portal.

iii. Candidates must have attained the age of sixteen (16) years on or before 30th September, 2026.

2. Candidates’ Eligibility for Screening (Continued)

iv. All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes obtained at one sitting OR six (6) O’Level credit passes obtained at two sittings in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in WASSCE, NECO, or GCE, as applicable to their chosen programmes.

v. All Direct Entry candidates who wish to be considered for admission into Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, who must have obtained Direct Entry Form from Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and must have chosen or changed to Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho as their first choice of institution are also eligible and must apply for the screening exercise.

The candidates are required to have submitted their transcript(s) (‘A’ Level result, NCE/OND/HND) to the Registrar not later than 31st August, 2026.

A. Payment for 2026/2027 FUNATO Post-UTME Screening

1. Payment Instructions for UTME Entry Candidates

Candidates are required to log-in to the Admission Portal APPLICATION PORTAL using their Jamb Registration Number (e.g. 202412345678EG) as their user name and their surname as their initial password e.g. OYESANMI, CHIBUZOR, UMAR.

A portal access fee of ₦3,550 and screening fee of ₦2,000.00 should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL in favour of FUNATO.

Payment Options:

Card – Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card

Bank Transfer – Direct bank account debit whereby you use your internet banking tools to make payment

Candidates are expected to print the payment success receipt.

2. Date of Post-UTME Screening

The Post-UTME screening shall take place from 1st September, 2026.

Candidates are therefore strongly advised to provide valid and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers as data modification will attract a fee.

B. Online Self-Screening Form

Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS before the close of the Admission Screening Exercise.
