FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, MUBI ANNOUNCES 2ND MATRICULATION CEREMONY
The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture Mubi, Prof. Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, RSS (NISS), acting on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff, and Students, has formally issued an invitation to the general public for the institution’s 2nd Matriculation Ceremony.
This milestone event represents the official induction of the newest cohort of scholars for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. As a young and rapidly growing center for agricultural excellence, the ceremony is a foundational rite of passage where students take a formal pledge to uphold the academic rigor and moral integrity of the institution, popularly referred to as the “Shield of Life.”
CEREMONY SCHEDULE AND LOGISTICS

Venue: Sali Isa Bello Event Center, Maiha Road, Mubi, Adamawa State.
Important Note for Guests: Parents, guardians, and well-wishers are strictly encouraged to be seated by 9:30 AM. This allows for an orderly commencement of the Vice-Chancellor’s procession and ensures that the ceremony begins without disruption.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MATRICULATION OATH
The 2nd Matriculation Ceremony is more than a formal gathering; it is a statutory requirement for all fresh students. By participating in the oath-taking, students:

Academic Regalia: Students are expected to collect their matriculation gowns from their respective Faculty Offices upon presentation of evidence of payment of the required fees.

Procession Protocol: All matriculating students must be at the Sali Isa Bello Event Center by 8:30 AM for departmental lining and briefing by the University Marshal.

Photography: While the university encourages the celebration of this achievement, professional photographers are restricted to designated areas to avoid obstructing the official academic procession.
