The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially released its Inter-University Transfer Application for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, inviting eligible students from recognized Nigerian universities to apply for transfer into the institution.

According to a memo issued by the Senior Deputy Registrar, Senate and Admissions, Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, the application exercise will commence on Monday, July 13, 2026.

The Inter-University Transfer scheme provides an opportunity for qualified undergraduate students who wish to continue their studies at FUNAAB while maintaining their academic progression, subject to meeting the University’s transfer requirements.

APPLICATION FEE

Interested applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦50,000, inclusive of REMITA charges.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for the Inter-University Transfer, applicants must:

• Be a currently registered student of a recognized university in Nigeria.
• Have gained admission into their current university through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
• Meet the minimum academic performance requirements:
  • CGPA of at least 3.00 on a 5.00-point scale for Agricultural programmes.
  • CGPA of at least 3.50 on a 5.00-point scale for Engineering and Science programmes.
• The required CGPA must have been obtained as of the second semester of the current academic session.
• Ensure that their official academic transcript is forwarded directly to the:

Eligible candidates should follow the steps below:

1. Visit the official FUNAAB Admission Portal:

2. Carefully read the Inter-University Transfer Guidelines.
3. Access the application portal using your JAMB Registration Number as it appears on your JAMB Admission Letter.
4. Complete the online application form with accurate information.
5. Print the completed application form.
6. Submit the printed application form to the Senate and Admissions Unit of the University.
