FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, IDAH RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of The Federal Polytechnic, Idah, is pleased to invite all eligible candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to apply for the online screening exercise for admission into various National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Selection is calculated strictly from your UTME scores and ‘O’ Level results; no physical exams or face-to-face interviews are required.

​1. General Information

All eligible JAMB candidates are hereby invited for online screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session admission into National Diploma.

​i. Candidates seeking admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Idah must have chosen this Institution as their first (1^{\text{st}}) choice institution in the 2026/2027 UTME.

ii. Candidates who wish to choose Federal Polytechnic, Idah as their first (1\text{st}) choice are requested to do change of institution to Federal Polytechnic, Idah on JAMB portal.

iii. Registration and upload of ‘O’ level results for Post – Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Online Screening for 2026/2027 academic session begins on Monday, 22nd June, and closes on Monday, 31st August, 2026;

iv. Only candidates who score 100 and above in the UTME are qualified for the online screening exercise;

v. Candidates must possess the basic five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in the relevant subjects in accordance with the Polytechnic’s entry requirements;

vi. Candidates must have sat for the appropriate UTME subjects for their proposed courses of study (correct subject combination);

vii. Candidates must upload their ‘O’ level results on JAMB CAPS through certified CBT centre as the online screening and admission depend on uploading of ‘O’ level results on JAMB CAPS. This must be promptly done to facilitate admission;

viii. Candidates who are awaiting their ‘O’ level results may apply but should indicate Awaiting Result (AR). However, such candidates should immediately upload their ‘O’ level results as soon as the results are released;

ix. Candidates will be screened based on their UTME and ‘O’ level results only;

x. Application form cost is ₦2,000 Naira only;

xi. Candidates must provide authentic personal email address and phone numbers as these will serve as the primary means of contacting them;

​xii. Candidates should note that the Federal Polytechnic, Idah does not condone any form of falsification of information as this will automatically disqualify the candidate.

​2. Procedure for Registration

Candidates are advised to visit the Federal Polytechnic, Idah application portal at https://forms.fepoda.edu.ng and follow the steps below:

i. Click on Post UTME (Prospective ND Students) link;

ii. Click on Register Now;

iii. Select post UTME, enter your valid email address and valid phone number;

iv. Click Create Account;

v. Check the provided email address for your username and password;

vi. Log on to https://forms.fepoda.edu.ng/apply/login.php with the username and password;

vii. Upload your passport and make online payment of the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only as registration fee;

viii. Fill the application form, upload the necessary documents including jamb result as well as WAEC/NECO/NABTEB certificate or statement of results;

ix. Submit your application and print.

​3. Closing Date

Completion and submission of forms online will close by 11:59 pm on Monday, 31st August, 2026.
