DELTA STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY, OVRODE RELEASES ND/CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Delta State College of Health Technology, Ovrode, has officially announced the commencement of admissions for its National Diploma (ND), Diploma, and Certificate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Established by the Delta State Government in 2025 to train middle-level healthcare providers for primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of the healthcare delivery system, the institution invites interested and qualified candidates to apply.

Entry and Admission Requirements
The institution has outlined specific O’Level academic requirements for all prospective students, categorized by the programme types.
1. National Diploma (ND) Programmes (With or without JAMB)
Prospective candidates applying for any of the listed ND programmes must possess five (5) O’Level credits at WASC, NECO, or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must include the following subjects:
Biology
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
English Language
This requirement applies uniformly across all ND courses, including Community Health Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Paramedics Technology, Health Information Management Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Dispensing Opticianry, Dental Therapy, Environmental Health Technology, and Public Health Technology.
2. Diploma Programmes (No JAMB Required At All)
Candidates applying for Diploma paths must similarly possess five (5) O’Level credits at WASC, NECO, or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The credits must cover:
Biology
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
English Language
This standard applies to Community Health Extension Worker, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Dispensing Opticianry, and Health Information Management (Technician).
3. Certificate Programmes
Prospective candidates for Certificate courses must possess three (3) O’Level credits at WASC, NECO, or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The three credits must be in:
Biology
Mathematics
English Language
This criteria applies to Junior Community Health Extension Worker, Physiotherapy, Health Care Giver, Health Assistants, and Occupational Therapy certificates.
Application Procedure and Entrance Examination
How to Apply: Applicants are required to apply online via the official college portal at www.dschtovrode.ng/apply.
Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₦15,500 is required to complete the online application process.
Entrance Examination: The entrance exam is scheduled to take place on August 24, 2026, at the College Premises. The examination will commence at 10:00 am.
Examination Rules: Candidates are strictly reminded that phones and smartwatches are not allowed inside the examination hall.
