NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL OPENS 2026 BAR PART 1 ADMISSION PORTAL
The Nigerian Law School has officially announced the commencement of applications for the 2026 Bar Part I Programme. According to the notice, the application portal will open on Monday, 25 May 2026 and close on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
The programme is scheduled to begin on Monday, 27 July 2026 at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters, Bwari, Abuja.
Eligibility Requirements
The Bar Part I Programme is strictly for Nigerian graduates of Law from Common Law countries whose law degrees are approved by the Council of Legal Education.
However, the Nigerian Law School stated that degrees obtained through:
- Part-time study
- Open University programmes
- Long-distance learning
- Online study modes
will not be accepted for admission into the programme.
Application Process
Interested applicants are expected to visit the official Nigerian Law School website:
Applicants must:
- Complete the online application form
- Submit the completed form to:
[email protected] - Ensure submission is done on or before Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
In addition, applicants must ensure that:
- Their academic transcript
- Completed Forms B, B1, and B2
are sent from the official email addresses of their university and employer (where applicable) to:
on or before Friday, 17 July 2026.
The school emphasized that all emails should carry the applicant’s name and application number as the subject.
Important Notice to Applicants
Applicants are strongly advised to:
- Keep their application numbers safely for future admission status checks
- Submit all required documents before the deadline
- Avoid late submissions, as the school will not entertain applications submitted after the stipulated dates
