FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES (FUTES) ANNOUNCES ADJUSTMENTS UN ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences (FUTES) has issued an important notice regarding adjustments to the academic calendar in anticipation of the forthcoming Ramadan Eid and Easter public holidays.

According to a directive from the Registrar, Oluwole Olalere Dada, the university has revised its schedule to ensure students and lecturers can adequately plan their lectures, revision, and examinations.

Revised Academic Schedule

• End of Lectures: Thursday, 2nd April 2026

• Revision Period Commences: Wednesday, 8th April 2026

• First Semester Examinations Begin: Monday, 13th April 2026

Anticipated Public Holidays

The university has also noted the following public holiday dates:

• Ramadan Eid: Friday, 20th March 2026 and Monday, 23rd March 2026

• Easter Break: Friday, 3rd April 2026 and Monday, 6th April 2026

All lecturers and students are advised to take note of these dates and adjust their lecture and study schedules accordingly. This will ensure adequate preparation for the upcoming examinations and help maintain a smooth academic flow.
