FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, LOKOJA (FULOKOJA) SECURES NUC APPROVAL FOR 8 NEW ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: NUC GRANTS FULL ACCREDITATION TO ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES AT FUL

The Management of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) is proud to announce that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Full Accreditation status to several of our academic programmes. This follows the rigorous October/November 2025 accreditation exercise conducted by the commission.

In an official communication dated April 7, 2026, the NUC confirmed that these programmes have met the required statutory mandates for quality assurance and adherence to minimum academic standards.

I. LIST OF FULLY ACCREDITED PROGRAMMES

The following departments have successfully secured full accreditation, validating the quality of their curriculum and instructional delivery:

• Faculty of Science: Computer Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Microbiology.
