WELLSPRING UNIVERSITY, BENIN CITY GETS NUC’S APPROVAL FOR MBBS PROGRAMME & 4 NEW HEALTH SCIENCE COURSES

Wellspring University, Benin City, has achieved a major academic milestone following the official approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish five new undergraduate programmes.

​The implementation of these newly approved courses will take effect from the 2026/2027 academic session. This development marks a significant expansion into core medical and clinical sciences for the institution.

​Newly Approved Programmes;

​The five newly accredited undergraduate courses are:

1. ​Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
2. ​B.Sc. Human Anatomy
3. ​B.Sc. Human Physiology
4. ​Bachelor of Health Information Management (BHIM)
5. ​Bachelor of Community Health Science (B.CHS.)
