The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, has officially approved the final re-opening of the Second Semester, 2024/2025 Academic Session Course Registration Portal. This re-opening is scheduled to last for a period of three (3) days only, beginning Monday, 14th July, 2025, and will close at exactly 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, 16th July, 2025.

This final opportunity is aimed at accommodating students who were unable to complete their course registration during the initial and previous extended periods. As such, all concerned students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this limited window to register their courses without further delay.

Important Guidelines:

Mandatory Registration for All Unregistered Students:

Any student who has not yet registered for the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Session is required to do so within this three-day window. Failure to register within this timeframe may result in the student being unable to participate in academic activities or sit for semester examinations.

Outstanding Payment Requirement:

Students with pending or outstanding fee payments must ensure that all dues are cleared in full in order to gain access to the registration portal. Course registration will not be processed or recognized unless all required payments have been made.

Final Re-opening – No Further Extensions:

It is important to note that this is the third and final re-opening of the registration portal. There will be no additional extension or grace period after the deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Students are therefore advised to act with urgency and complete their registration as soon as possible.

Help and Technical Support:

Students experiencing challenges during the registration process—whether due to portal access, payment confirmation, or technical glitches—are advised to promptly contact the relevant university support units:

Academic Affairs Directorate: [email protected]

Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe Centre for Information Technology and Systems (ABS-CITS): [email protected]

Students are reminded that successful course registration is a crucial prerequisite for participating in lectures, assessments, and all other academic activities. As such, the University urges all students to take this directive seriously and complete their registration well before the portal closes.

This announcement serves as an official notice to all students of the University of Lagos. Kindly treat this information with the utmost importance.

For further updates, stay connected to the official UNILAG website and information portals.

Thank you!
