practices in leadership that has made a positive impact in the quality of education in University of Ilorin, and indeed Nigeria, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sulyman Age AbdulKareem has been awarded the

“ACADEMIC MANAGER OF THE YEAR”. Professor Abdulkareem, the Chairman,

Committee of Vice-Chancellors (CVC) of Nigerian Federal Federal Universities, and the Co-Chairman, Committee of Vice-Chancellor of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU) was conferred the prestigious award by the National Education Summit and Award at it’s summit themed “Rethinking Education For Innovation, Work And Sustainability; A Path Way For Education In Nigeria” held on Sunday, 8th August,2021.

The National Education Awards was conceptualized to honour, award and thank educators and administrators for their excellent contributions to the education community, teaching performance and their significant contribution to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching in Nigeria.

The Summit which had Federal and State

Ministry of Education Officials, Educational Bodies, Education Leaders, Edupreneurs, Education Investors, Chairmen, CEOs and MDs of Schools, Corporate Organizations, Colleges and Universities, Edu-Startupsand.
