UNIPORT PGD Admission In Information and Telecommunication Engineering, 2019/2020

The Centre for Information and Telecommunication Engineering [CITE] was established by the Senate of the University of Port Harcourt in 2014 to train high- level skilled manpower for the ICT-based Industries through a University-Industry based collaboration. The Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Information and Telecommunication Engineering provides opportunities to candidates who have a first degree with a minimum of Third Class or HND with a minimum of Upper Credit to improve the quality of their degrees and enhance their academic career development with professional certification.
On completion of this programme, Graduates would be awarded with Post Graduate Degree (PGD) in Information and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt with an additional professional certification in ICT from Huawei Technologies to enhance their employability.

Admission Requirements: Candidate must possess Bachelor degree with a minimum of Third Class or HND with a minimum of Upper Credit in any Engineering field, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics/ Statistics, Physics, SLT or any other related field.

Duration of Programme: 12-Calendar months with intensive modular lecture delivery approach.

Method of Application: Application Forms are available at the Centre for Information & Telecommunication Engineering [CITE], 2nd Floor, School of Basic Studies Building, University of Port Harcourt, or download Form from www.citeuniport.com. A non-refundable application fee of twenty thousand naira (N20,000) only in certified bank draft made payable to the Centre for Information & Telecommunication Engineering [CITE].

* Completed Application Forms must be returned to the Director, CITE on or before Friday, November 29, 2019.
