The management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED), Ijagun, Ogun State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Admission Screening Exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the institution’s undergraduate programmes.

The screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) modes.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who selected Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 160 are eligible to apply.

Applicants must also be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2026.

Candidates who did not initially choose TASFUED as their first choice but scored 160 and above can still apply after completing a Change of Institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) students who successfully completed their programme and selected TASFUED as their first choice with a minimum UTME score of 160 are also eligible.

Direct Entry candidates, including TASFUED JUPEB graduates, who selected the university as their first choice and obtained the required Direct Entry form from JAMB can participate in the screening exercise.

General Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Candidates are also required to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS before the close of the screening exercise.

Application Steps:

  1. Visit the TASFUED admission portal.
  2. Click on “Apply Now”.
  3. Select Undergraduate Admission.
  4. Choose Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application.
  5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
  6. Create an application account using a valid email address.
  7. Verify your email and log in.
  8. Pay the prescribed screening fee online.
  9. Complete your biodata and screening details.
  10. Upload and verify your O’Level results.
  11. Review all information carefully.
  12. Submit the application form.
  13. Print your Application and Screening Slips.

Screening Process

The admission screening will be conducted online and candidates will be graded based on:

  • UTME Score
  • O’Level grades in five relevant subjects

The university has integrated an automated O’Level Verification System and Programme Advisor to assist candidates in determining their eligibility for their chosen programmes.

Registration Deadline

The online admission screening portal will be open from:

Tuesday, June 23, 2026

to

Friday, July 10, 2026

Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline as late applications will not be entertained.

Direct Entry Candidates

All Direct Entry applicants are required to submit copies of their Online Admission Screening Report and academic credentials to the Admissions Office at the university’s main campus in Ijagun.
