SULE LAMIDO UNIVERSITY (SLU) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online admission screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the university’s undergraduate programmes.
According to the university, the online screening registration is open to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates who selected Sule Lamido University as their first-choice institution during the 2026 admission exercise.
The online registration exercise commenced on Monday, 27th July, 2026, and will close at midnight on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
UTME Candidates
Applicants must:
- Have a minimum of five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates who did not initially choose Sule Lamido University as their first-choice institution but scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply after changing their institution to SLU through the JAMB portal.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants must possess:
- A minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), or
- Merit in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), or
- At least 7 points in IJMBE Advanced Level.
The minimum Direct Entry cut-off point for all programmes is 7 points.

How to Apply
Candidates should follow the steps below to complete their registration:
- Visit the Sule Lamido University admission portal through the university website.
- Select UTME or Direct Entry application.
- Log in using:
- UTME Registration Number and UTME Score (UTME candidates), or
- Direct Entry Registration Number, State of Origin, and Gender (DE candidates).
- Upload a recent passport photograph.
- Complete your profile with accurate information.
- Upload your O’Level results (maximum of two sittings).
- Direct Entry candidates should also upload their A’Level qualifications.
- Generate payment and pay the ₦2,000 Post-UTME/DE screening fee (excluding Remita charges) through Remita, debit card, or any commercial bank.
- Print your Acknowledgement Slip after successful registration.
Documents Required After Admission
Successfully admitted candidates will be required to present the originals and photocopies of the following documents during registration:
- Acknowledgement Slip
- Evidence of Payment
- UTME Result Slip or Direct Entry Registration Slip
- O’Level Result(s)
- Two recent passport photographs with white background
- Certificate of Indigeneship
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- A’Level Result (for Direct Entry candidates only)
Important Information
Candidates should note the following:
- Registration closes at midnight on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.
- Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme should do so through the JAMB portal before the registration deadline.
- All applicants must upload their O’Level results to their JAMB profile, as failure to do so may affect admission processing.
- Candidates who fail to complete the online screening registration within the stipulated period will not be considered for admission into the university.
