SOUTHERN DELTA UNIVERSITY, OZORO (SDU) RELEASES FIRST SEMESTER RESULTS OF THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Southern Delta University (SDU), Ozoro, Delta State, has officially announced the approval and immediate release of the first-semester academic results for the ongoing 2025/2026 academic session.

​According to an official institutional notice signed by the Acting Dean of Students’ Affairs, Engr. Dr. P. O. Oghenerukevwe, the academic results were released following a formal evaluation and subsequent approval by the University Senate, which is the highest academic decision-making body of the institution.

​Directives to Heads of Departments (HODs)

​In alignment with the administrative directives issued by the Vice Chancellor of the university, all Heads of Departments (HODs) across the various faculties and directorates have been instructed to take immediate action. The management has mandated all HODs to print and paste their respective departmental results on the designated departmental notice boards. This exercise is to be carried out with immediate effect to allow students quick and unrestricted access to their academic performances for the semester.

​Guidelines for Students with Missing Results

​Following this announcement, the university administration has also provided specific guidelines for students who may encounter issues checking their grades.

​The management has stated that any student who is unable to find or view his or her first-semester results on the departmental notice boards after the pasting exercise should not panic. Such affected students are directed to immediately report the situation directly to the Office of the Dean, Students’ Affairs. This will enable the registry and technical teams to initiate further administrative action and resolve any outstanding issues regarding missing grades or complications swiftly.

​The notice concludes by urging the entire student body to cooperate fully with these directives and approach the process in an orderly manner. All students are strongly advised to visit their respective departments to check their status and comply accordingly with all the guidelines laid down by the university management.
