SA’ADU ZUNGUR UNIVERSITY, GADAU (SAZUG) ISSUES URGENT DIRECTIVE TO PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES ON O’LEVEL UPLOAD & CHANGE OF COURSE ON JAMB PORTAL FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi State, through the Office of the Registrar, has issued an important administrative notification directed to all candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The official directive (Ref: SAZU/ACAD/ADMS/001/VOL.1), and signed by the Admission Officer, A.Z. Shuaibu, on behalf of the Registrar, addresses candidates who have successfully participated in the university’s physical screening exercise but are yet to formally accept their admission offers on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Mandatory Portal Protocols for Prospective Candidates
The university management emphasizes that candidates who attended the physical screening exercise but have not been able to access, accept, or download their provisional admission letters must urgently complete specific regulatory requirements on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
To enable the university to process and validate their provisional placements on CAPS, candidates are urgently required to:
* Upload O’Level Results: Upload verified O’Level credentials (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS) onto their personal profiles on the JAMB e-Facility portal.
* Effect Change of Course: Effect any necessary institutional or course modifications that were approved during the physical screening session. This step ensures that the academic programme selected on the JAMB portal aligns precisely with the department recommended by the screening panel.
Warning on Strict Compliance and Forfeiture Risk
The university administration warns that failure to comply with these explicit directives within the stipulated time frame may result in the total forfeiture of the admission offer. Unprocessed admissions on the JAMB CAPS portal due to missing O’Level records or course mismatches will be rendered invalid, leading to the reallocation of candidate slots.
All concerned candidates, parents, and guardians are strongly advised to adhere strictly to these instructions to secure their formal admission status for the 2026/2027 academic session.
