PLATEAU STATE POLYTECHNIC (PLAPOLY) BEGINS UPLOADING NAMES TO JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Plateau State Polytechnic (PLAPOLY), Barkin Ladi, has commenced admission processing for the 2026/2027 academic session, with prospective National Diploma (ND) candidates advised to monitor their admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The development follows the reported release of the institution’s first-batch ND admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission are encouraged to check the published list and regularly monitor their JAMB CAPS profiles for updates.

PLAPOLY 2026/2027 ND Admission Update

The first-batch ND admission list contains the names of candidates offered admission into various National Diploma programmes at Plateau State Polytechnic.

According to available admission updates, the list has been made available on the institution’s noticeboard. Candidates are advised to check their names and follow the admission instructions provided by the Polytechnic.

The admission process also requires candidates to monitor JAMB CAPS, where admission offers can be viewed and accepted or rejected.

What If Your JAMB CAPS Shows “Not Admitted”?

Candidates whose admission status displays “Not Admitted” or “Admission Still in Progress” should not panic.

Admission processing may continue in batches, and the status of candidates can change as further updates are made.

Such candidates are advised to:

• Check their JAMB CAPS accounts regularly.
• Monitor announcements from Plateau State Polytechnic.
• Ensure that their O’Level results have been uploaded to JAMB where required.
• Confirm that their JAMB details and programme information are correct.

Not seeing an admission offer immediately does not necessarily mean that a candidate has lost the opportunity to secure admission.

What Successful Candidates Should Do Next

Candidates who find their names on the admission list or receive an offer through JAMB CAPS should:

• Confirm their admission status and programme.
• Accept the admission offer on JAMB CAPS.
• Follow the Polytechnic’s instructions for acceptance fee payment.
• Complete the required screening and clearance procedures.
• Keep their admission documents and payment receipts safe.

Candidates should rely on official Polytechnic and JAMB instructions for payment and registration procedures.

All candidates who applied for admission into Plateau State Polytechnic for the 2026/2027 academic session are advised to keep checking their admission status.

The release of the first-batch list is an important stage in the admission exercise. However, candidates should understand that checking the school admission list and checking JAMB CAPS are separate steps in the admission process.

Congratulations to all candidates who have been offered admission. Those still awaiting admission should remain patient and continue monitoring their profiles for updates.
