Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into the following Nursing Programs of the Department of Nursing, Ministry of Health, Osogbo, State of Osun:

• Basic General Nursing,
• Post – Basic General Nursing, and
• Post – Basic Midwifery.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

School Of Nursing:

Interested candidates must pass the following subjects at a minimum of credit level in either WAEC or NECO;

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics.

Awaiting Results applicants need not apply.

Post – Basic General Nursing:

i. Possess WAEC, SSCE, GCE or NECO, with (5) credits at not more than two sittings. The subject combination must include

• English Language,
• Mathematics,
• Physics,
• Chemistry, and
• Biology.

iii. Be a Registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a valid License.

iv. Have at least one year post – registration working experience after the one year Mandatory Community Service (Midwives only).

School Of Midwifery:

i. Possess WAEC, SSCE, GCE or NECO, with (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings.The subject combination must include:

• English Language,
• Mathematics,
• Physics,
• Chemistry, and
• Biology.

ii. Be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a valid License.
