NORTH-EASTERN UNIVERSITY, GOMBE (NEU) ANNOUNCES 50% SCHOLARSHIP FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMMES
This is to inform the general public, especially prospective students of North-Eastern University (NEU), Gombe, that the university, through the North-Eastern University Community Development Initiative (NEU-CDI), has institutionalized a special scholarship programme.
In a bid to strengthen human capital and promote access to quality education, the Founder, Dr. Sani Jauro (Danlawan of Gombe), has approved a 50% tuition fee waiver for students pursuing critical disciplines in Science and Technology.
Available Programmes
The scholarship specifically applies to candidates admitted into the following B.Sc. programmes:
Petroleum Chemistry
Environmental Management & Toxicology
Industrial Chemistry
Microbiology
Biotechnology
Urban & Regional Planning
Scholarship Value & Coverage
Discount: 50% waiver on tuition fees.
Exclusions: Please note that this scholarship does not cover accommodation or other institutional charges.
Tenure: The scholarship remains valid for the full duration of the programme, provided the student maintains the university’s required academic standards for continuation.
Eligibility & Application Process
Eligibility: Open to all Nigerian citizens. (Foreign candidates are not eligible for this specific intervention).
How to Apply: 1. Obtain and fill out the NEU-CDI application form.
2. Attach your official NEU or JAMB admission letter.
3. Submit the completed package at the University Enrolment Office.
