NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY RELEASES SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has announced the commencement of applications for supplementary admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
The exercise is open to prospective UTME candidates who successfully registered for the University’s Post-UTME screening exercise and are willing to study any of the listed programmes.
The supplementary admission exercise will commence on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and close on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
The supplementary admission exercise is strictly for candidates who:
- Registered successfully for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise.
- Have not already been admitted into any department at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
- Are willing to study any of the available programmes listed by the University.
Candidates should note that intra-university transfer can only be possible after two years of study.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
Candidates who have successfully applied for a supplementary programme are advised to take note of the following:
- Candidates should regularly check the Transfer Approval panel on JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates must promptly accept their transfer to the new programme once it is posted on JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates should ensure that their O’Level result or results are properly uploaded to JAMB CAPS to enable the successful processing of their admission.
- Candidates who have already been admitted into any department in the University are not eligible to participate in the supplementary admission exercise.
- Candidates should carefully select programmes they are willing to study, as intra-university transfer can only be possible after two years of study.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates are required to complete the application process through the University’s applicant portal.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Visit the Nnamdi Azikiwe University applicant portal.
- Log in to your profile using your JAMB registration details.
- If you have already purchased the Post-UTME form, go to your dashboard and click on the “Supplementary Admission” card.
- Candidates who have not purchased the Post-UTME form should first add their O’Level results and purchase the Post-UTME form.
- Under “Available Programme,” browse through the programmes for which you are eligible.
- Click “Add” to select up to three programmes of your choice.
- Only one of the selected programmes can be a professional course.
- Click “Continue” to review the total amount payable.
- Proceed to confirm your reservation.
- After payment, the selected programmes will appear under “My Programs.”
- Regularly check the JAMB CAPS Transfer Approval panel after applying.
- Accept the transfer offer promptly once it appears on JAMB CAPS.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
The supplementary admission application will close on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
Candidates are advised to complete their applications within the stated period, as each active user has a limited time to complete the application process.
FINAL NOTICE
Prospective candidates are advised to provide accurate information during the application process and ensure that their O’Level results are properly uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
Applicants should also monitor the University’s official applicant portal and JAMB CAPS regularly for updates concerning their supplementary admission and transfer approval.
