NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY (POLAC) ANNOUNCES 13TH REGULAR COURSE SCREENING DATES AND REQUIREMENTS
The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has announced the dates and requirements for the comprehensive screening exercise for applicants seeking admission into the 13th Regular Course.
The Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, ANIPR, MSPSP, PSC, informed applicants that the screening exercise will commence on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Academy in Wudil, Kano State.
The exercise will involve the Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical features assessment, medical screening and Selection Board Interview.
PRINTING OF EXAMINATION SLIP
Candidates are expected to print their examination slips within the following period:
August 25 – September 8, 2026
Applicants are advised to print their slips early and carefully check the information contained on them before travelling to the Academy.
SCREENING EXERCISE DATES
The CBT Examination, Physical Features Assessment, Medical Screening and Selection Board Interview will take place from Wednesday, September 9 to Friday, September 18, 2026.
The CBT examination will be conducted according to the following state-based schedule:

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
All candidates are required to come with both the original copies and photocopies of the following documents:
- Primary School Leaving Certificate.
- SSCE Result — WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
- JAMB Result Slip.
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
- Local Government Area (LGA) Indigene Certificate.
- Letter of Identification.
- Properly completed and signed Guarantor’s Form.
- Medical Certificate of Fitness from a Government Hospital.
- NIN Slip.
- Four passport photographs.
- Application Acknowledgement Slip printed from the POLAC Admission Portal.
Candidates are advised to organise all their documents before arriving at the Academy to ensure a smooth screening process.
MODE OF DRESSING
Candidates attending the screening exercise are required to dress in:
- White T-shirt
- White shorts
- White socks
- White canvas shoes
Candidates are expected to comply strictly with the prescribed dress code.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
The Nigeria Police Academy has provided several important instructions for applicants participating in the screening exercise.
ARRIVE A DAY BEFORE YOUR EXAMINATION
Candidates are expected to arrive at the Academy one day before their scheduled examination date.
ACCOMMODATION WILL BE PROVIDED
All candidates will be accommodated within the Academy during the period of the screening exercise.
CHECK THE POLAC ADMISSION PORTAL
Candidates are advised to regularly check the POLAC Admission Portal for further information and updates concerning the screening exercise.
PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE ACADEMY
Parents and guardians will not be allowed into the Academy during the screening exercise.
Candidates should therefore make adequate arrangements before arriving at the Academy.
BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS
Candidates have also been warned to beware of fake social media accounts and individuals impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.
Applicants should rely only on information released through the Academy’s official communication channels and admission portal.
SCREENING COMMENCES SEPTEMBER 9
The comprehensive screening exercise for applicants seeking admission into the 13th Regular Course of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, will commence on September 9, 2026.
All applicants are advised to print their examination slips within the stipulated period, prepare all required documents and arrive at the Academy according to their assigned schedule.
