NIGERIA MARITIME UNIVERSITY,OKERENKOKO ANNOUNCES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Nigeria Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko, Delta State, has officially commenced the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who selected Nigeria Maritime University as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 150.
The university urges all eligible candidates to complete their registration within the stipulated period to be considered for admission into its various undergraduate programmes.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must:
- Have chosen Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME.
- Obtain a minimum UTME score of 150.
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Portal (CAPS).
SCREENING APPLICATION FEE
Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only) through the University’s online portal.
ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Candidates should follow the steps below to complete their registration:
- Visit the University portal at https://www.nmu.edu.ng/
- Click on the E-Portal link.
- Select Admission Forms.
- Choose Post-UTME Screening Form.
- Click on Make Payment Now.
- Make payment using an ATM card or Internet Banking platform.
- After successful payment, return to the portal and complete the registration process.
- Obtain your login credentials and fill in the required bio-data correctly.
- Print out the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Slip for future reference.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
The University has emphasized that candidates are not required to upload passport photographs or biometric data during registration, as such information has already been provided through JAMB.
Candidates who fail to register for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will not be considered for admission into the University.
However, foreign applicants and candidates living with disabilities are exempted from participating in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Monday, 29th June, 2026
Prospective applicants are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute challenges.
