NIGERIA LAW SCHOOL ANNOUNCES 2026 RESIT EXAMINATION FOR DECEMBER 2025 CANDIDATES

This is to inform candidates who were referred in one paper (conditional pass) at the December 2025 Bar Final Examination that they can resit the paper during the 2026 Bar Final (Resit) Examination scheduled for May 16 – 22, 2026, at the Nigerian Law School, Headquarters, Bwari – Abuja.

​Application opens Wednesday 22 April, and closes Thursday 30, 2026. Completed application documents must be received on or before Monday 4 May 2026.

​Registration Fee:

​Application Fee: ₦30,000.00

​Examination Fee: ₦70,000.00

​Total: ₦100,000.00

​Payment Instructions: Application and registration fees should be paid separately to the account of the Council of Legal Education on the CBN/Remita payment gateway, through electronic transfer or at any commercial bank as follows:

​I. Name of MDA: Council of Legal Education

​II. Name of Service/Purpose: Resit Examination

​III. Payer’s Full Name:

​After Payment:

​I. Send a clear scanned copy of your Remita Receipt (RRR), surname, other names, email address, and phone number to our official email: [email protected]

​II. Login details to register will be sent to the email address provided on the Remita receipt.

​Verification: Take receipt for verification to the Accounts Department, then submit to the Office of the Secretary to the Council/Head of Administration (SDA).

​The Following Documents for Submission:

​i. Two (2) copies of printout of the December 2025 Bar Final result

​ii. Four (4) passport photographs

​iii. Two (2) photocopies of Law School ID card

​iv. Two (2) copies of payment receipts

​Notes:

​Candidates who register but fail to turn up for examination will forfeit all fees.

​Accommodation will be available for the period of the examination at a moderate fee.
