NIGER STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, BIDA BEGINS UPLOADING OF NAMES ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Niger State College of Nursing Sciences, Bida has commenced the uploading of names of successful candidates on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This development is to inform candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise that they can now proceed to check their JAMB CAPS portal to confirm whether they have been offered provisional admission.

Candidates are advised to note that the uploading process may be carried out in batches. Therefore, candidates whose admission status is not yet updated are encouraged to check again later.

HOW TO CHECK NIGER STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, BIDA ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS

Candidates can follow the steps below to check their admission status:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal:

2. Log in using your registered email address and password.
3. From your dashboard, click on “Check Admission Status.”
4. Click on “Access my CAPS.”
5. Select “Admission Status” to view your admission status.

If admission has been offered, the candidate will see an admission notification on the portal.

Candidates who have not yet been offered admission may see “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.” This does not necessarily mean that the candidate will not be admitted, especially where the institution is still uploading names.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION

Candidates who receive an admission offer are advised to carefully review the details of the offer and proceed to accept the admission on JAMB CAPS.

Candidates may also accept or reject their admission offer through the SMS option by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile, where applicable.

Candidates are advised to complete the acceptance process within the stipulated period.

After accepting the admission, candidates should proceed to print their JAMB admission letter, as the document may be required during the clearance and registration process at the Niger State College of Nursing Sciences, Bida.

CANDIDATES YET TO SEE THEIR NAMES

Candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise but are yet to see an admission offer on JAMB CAPS are advised to remain patient and continue checking their admission status.

Since institutions may upload admission lists in batches, a candidate may not see an offer immediately even when the uploading process has commenced.

Candidates should also ensure that their JAMB profile details are correct and that they are checking the CAPS portal properly.

HOW TO CHECK JAMB CAPS USING A MOBILE PHONE

Candidates using a mobile phone may encounter difficulties accessing the full JAMB CAPS menu.

To view the complete page, candidates can use Google Chrome and activate the Desktop Site option.

After opening the JAMB e-Facility portal on Chrome, click on the browser menu and select “Desktop site.” The page should then display the full CAPS options, including the admission status section.

Candidates are advised to check their admission status regularly and follow only official instructions regarding the admission process.
