NATIONAL ORTHOPAEDIC HOSPITAL, IGBOBI LAGOS RELEASES 2026/2027 ADMISSION FORM FOR NURSING, ORTHOPAEDIC TECHNOLOGY AND B.TECH PROGRAMMES
2026/2027 admission form for qualified candidates seeking admission into its full-time programmes under the College of Nursing Sciences (CONS) and the Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology (FECOT).
Prospective applicants who meet the admission requirements are invited to apply before the application deadline of Friday, September 4, 2026.
The admission exercise offers opportunities for candidates interested in pursuing careers in Nursing Sciences, Orthopaedic Cast Technology, Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology, and Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Available Programmes
The institution is accepting applications into the following programmes:
- Four (4) Years ND-HND in Nursing Sciences (ND Non-Terminal Programme)
- Two (2) Years National Diploma (ND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology (OCT)
- Two (2) Years National Diploma (ND) in Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology (POT)
- Two (2) Years Higher National Diploma (HND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology
- Two (2) Years Higher National Diploma (HND) in Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology
- Five (5) Years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Prosthetics and Orthotics, affiliated with the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB).
UTME Cut-Off Marks
Applicants must meet the following minimum UTME scores:
- 200 – ND Programmes (Orthopaedic Cast Technology and Prosthetics & Orthotics Technology)
- 200 – Nursing Sciences Programme
- 220 – B.Tech. Prosthetics and Orthotics Programme
For applicants seeking admission into the HND programmes, candidates must possess:
- A relevant National Diploma (minimum Lower Credit) in the appropriate discipline.
- Evidence of one-year Industrial Training (IT).
Other Requirements
Applicants are also required to provide:
- Proof of being at least 16 years old
- Birth Certificate or Sworn Affidavit of Age Declaration
- JAMB UTME Result Slip
- One recent passport photograph with a white background
In addition, all O’Level results must be uploaded on or before September 4, 2026.
Application Fee
Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000.
