MOUNTAIN TOP UNIVERSITY (MTU) RELEASES JUPEB ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the foundation programmes offered by the Mountain Top University in the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Obtaining qualifying grades lead to the award of the JUPEB Certificate which enables successful candidates – after the examination administered by JUPEB – to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 Level (Undergraduate Programme) in Mountain Top University.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects (including English

Language and Mathematics) at no more than two sittings. Candidates will be prepared to write and pass the Joint Universities’ Preliminary Examination (JUPEB) within a Session after which they will be eligible for admission consideration as Direct Entry candidates into 200 Level for the 2026/2027 academic session. The programme is fully residential.

1. Visit https://applications.mtu.edu.ng/ , Select JUPEB and Click on “Start a Fresh Application”

2. Enter your basic details (Name, Active Mobile Phone Number and E-mail Address) and Click on “Continue”

3. Download and print your Payment Voucher

4. Make payment

5NOTE: The complete name of the applicant must be legibly written on the Teller (even if someone else is paying on behalf of the applicant). Applicants for Foundation Programme must indicate APFP on their Teller while applicants for Pre-Degree must indicate APPD on their Teller.

Return to your portal on www.mtu.edu.ng to complete your online application and print out the completed Application Form.
