The Management of the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) has officially announced the commencement of applications for Post-UTME, Direct Entry (DE), and Transfer Admissions into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into MAAUN must meet the following requirements:

UTME Candidates

Applicants must:

  • Have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Choose Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) as their first-choice institution through JAMB.
  • Meet the approved UTME cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
  • Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Candidates

Applicants seeking Direct Entry admission must possess:

  • A relevant National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or any other approved qualification.
  • Appropriate grades required for admission into their preferred programme.

Transfer Students
