KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY(KASU) RELEASES REVISED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR SECOND SEMESTER FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Kaduna State University (KASU), through its Directorate of Academic Planning, has released the revised academic calendar for the continuation of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
The revised calendar outlines the remaining academic activities for the session, including the continuation of lectures, Continuous Assessment, Students’ Union elections, examinations, processing and release of results, as well as the commencement of the next academic session.
KASU REVISED SECOND SEMESTER ACADEMIC CALENDAR
According to the revised academic calendar, the remaining activities for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session are scheduled as follows:

LECTURES AND CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT
Lectures and Continuous Assessment for the second semester are scheduled to continue from 21st September to 6th November 2026.
Students are advised to take note of the period and ensure that they participate in the remaining academic activities as scheduled.
STUDENTS’ UNION ELECTIONS
The calendar provides for the continuation of lectures alongside the Students’ Union elections and inauguration, scheduled for 9th to 13th November 2026.
Students are advised to take note of the dates and follow relevant information that may be issued by the University regarding the elections.
EXAMINATIONS AND RESULTS
The second semester examinations and marking are scheduled to take place from 16th November to 5th December 2026.
Following the examinations, the processing of results will run from 7th to 18th December 2026.
The consideration and release of results by the Senate is scheduled for 21st to 23rd December 2026.
END OF SESSION BREAK
According to the revised calendar, the end of session break is scheduled to run from 18th December 2026 to 17th January 2027.
The University is scheduled to commence the new academic session on 18th January 2027.
The calendar also indicates that intra and inter-university transfers will take place from 24th December 2026 to 17th January 2027.
STUDENTS ADVISED TO TAKE NOTE
Students of Kaduna State University are advised to carefully take note of the revised dates and make the necessary preparations for the remaining academic activities of the 2025/2026 academic session.
