June 12: FG Declares Nationwide Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Thursday, June 12, 2026, a public holiday in commemoration of this year’s Democracy Day celebration.

The declaration was announced by the Minister of Interior on behalf of the Federal Government, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to democratic governance and the values that underpin it.
