FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF LAFIA (FULAFIA) RELEASES ADJUSTED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has released the Adjusted Academic Calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining the schedule of academic activities for students and staff.

The adjusted calendar covers the commencement of the academic session, student resumption and registration, first and second semester lectures, examinations, matriculation, orientation, semester breaks, Senate meetings and other major academic activities.

FIRST SEMESTER ACTIVITIES

FULAFIA RESUMPTION AND REGISTRATION DATE

According to the adjusted calendar, students of the Federal University of Lafia are expected to resume on campus on Monday, 9th November 2026.

Registration will also commence on the same date and continue until Friday, 13th November 2026.

First semester lectures are scheduled to commence on Monday, 16th November 2026.

The Departmental and Faculty Boards are scheduled to consider first semester results from 5th to 9th April 2027, while the Senate Exams Vetting Committee will meet from 12th to 16th April 2027.

The Senate is scheduled to meet on Thursday, 29th April 2027, for the approval of first semester results.

For the second semester, the Departmental and Faculty Boards will consider results from 23rd to 27th August 2027.
