FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OYE-EKITI REOPENS POST-UTME PORTAL FOR CHANGE OF COURSE FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has reopened its Post-UTME screening portal for candidates who wish to apply for a Change of Course for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

The opportunity is available to candidates who meet the admission requirements for any of the programmes currently open for Change of Course.

Candidates are advised to carefully check the UTME subject combination, O’Level requirements and minimum entry score for their preferred programme before making any change. FUOYE’s official screening portal currently lists the available programmes and their requirements.

AVAILABLE COURSES FOR CHANGE OF COURSE

Candidates can change to any of the following programmes:

1. Agricultural Economics and Extension
2. Animal Production and Health
3. Crop Science and Horticulture
4. Fisheries and Aquaculture
5. Hospitality and Tourism Management
6. Soil Science and Land Resources Management
7. Water Resources Management & Agrometeorology
8. Religious Studies
9. Advertising
10. Development Communication
11. Information and Media Studies
12. Agricultural Education
13. Educational Technology
14. Mathematics Education
15. Physics Education

CHECK THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE CHANGING

Candidates should not change their course based on the availability of a programme alone. It is important to confirm that their JAMB subject combination and O’Level results meet the requirements for the proposed course.

According to the official FUOYE portal, the listed programmes have different minimum entry scores. For example, most of the Agricultural, Religious Studies and Education programmes listed have a minimum score of 150, while Advertising, Development Communication and Information and Media Studies have a minimum score of 160.

Candidates should also note that English Language and Mathematics are compulsory O’Level requirements for all programmes, subject to the specific requirements of each programme.

HOW TO APPLY FOR CHANGE OF COURSE

Candidates who wish to change their course should:

1. Visit the official FUOYE Post-UTME/CASAPS portal.
2. Log in using the required JAMB details.
3. Select the Change of Course option.
4. Check the available programmes.
5. Confirm the UTME and O’Level requirements for the preferred programme.
6. Make the required payment and complete the Change of Course process.
7. Submit the application and keep evidence of the transaction.

FUOYE’s official application guide states that candidates changing their programme are required to make an additional ₦2,500 Change of Course payment through the designated portal payment process.
