FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OTUOKE (FUOTUOKE) ANNOUNCES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of the Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the new academic session.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and are interested in pursuing undergraduate programmes at the university.
The institution explained that candidates who selected FUOTUOKE as their first choice institution and scored the approved minimum cut-off mark are eligible to participate in the screening exercise. Candidates who did not initially choose the university but wish to gain admission into FUOTUOKE can also apply after carrying out a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR FUOTUOKE POST-UTME SCREENING
The university outlined the following categories of candidates eligible for the screening exercise:
FIRST CHOICE CANDIDATES
- Candidates who selected the Federal University Otuoke as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB registration.
- Applicants must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME examination.
- Candidates must have chosen any of the approved programmes offered by the university.
CHANGE OF INSTITUTION CANDIDATES
Candidates who did not initially select FUOTUOKE as their first choice but scored at least 150 in the UTME are also eligible to apply.
However, such candidates must first visit the official JAMB portal and process a Change of Institution to Federal University Otuoke before proceeding with the screening registration.
ONLINE APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The management stated that all interested candidates are required to complete their registration online through the university’s official application portal.
Applicants are expected to pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only using an Interswitch-enabled Verve or Mastercard debit card.

The institution advised applicants to carefully read and understand all instructions before proceeding with the registration process.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
Candidates are expected to upload clear scanned copies of the following documents in PDF format during the registration process:
- WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB O’Level Result
- Local Government Identification Letter
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- National Identification Number (NIN) Registration Slip
Applicants are strongly advised to ensure that all uploaded documents are clear, authentic, and properly arranged to avoid complications during admission processing.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
FUOTUOKE management issued additional instructions to all candidates participating in the screening exercise.
VALID CONTACT DETAILS
Applicants must provide:
- A valid email address
- An active personal phone number
The university noted that it will not be responsible for unsuccessful applications resulting from invalid phone numbers or incorrect email addresses.
UPLOAD OF O’LEVEL SCRATCH CARD DETAILS
Candidates are also required to upload the scratch card details of their O’Level results.
Applicants combining two O’Level results must upload the scratch card information for both results accordingly.
COMMENCEMENT AND DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION
According to the university management:
- Commencement Date: Wednesday, 20th May, 2026
- Application Deadline: Friday, 17th July, 2026
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues or portal congestion.
DATE OF SCREENING EXERCISE
The university explained that the official date for the Post-UTME screening exercise will be communicated to applicants after completing their registration successfully.
Candidates are expected to print their screening schedule slip from the portal after application completion for details regarding the examination date, venue, and time.
WARNING AGAINST FALSE INFORMATION
The institution warned that candidates who:
- Fail to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS,
- Provide false UTME scores,
- Submit incorrect O’Level grades,
- Or falsify their state of origin,
will automatically be disqualified from the admission process.
Candidates are therefore encouraged to provide only genuine and verifiable information during registration.
