The management of the Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB), Jigawa State has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening exercise.

Suitably qualified candidates who chose FUTB as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME, as well as eligible Direct Entry applicants, are invited to apply for admission into the university’s various undergraduate programmes.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates must have scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
• Direct Entry (DE) applicants must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) or Innovative Diploma. IJMB candidates must have a minimum of 4 points in two relevant subjects.
• Candidates must possess at least five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings
