The Management of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN), is pleased to inform the student body that the institution has successfully completed its institutional enrollment into the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) scheme.

With this integration finalized, all students of FUTES-IYIN are now officially eligible to apply for the Federal Government’s education loan initiative, which is designed to provide sustainable financial support for tuition and upkeep during their academic journey.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF NELFUND FOR FUTES-IYIN

As a young and rapidly growing institution, the University Management views this development as a major milestone. The primary objectives of participating in this scheme include:

  • Enhancing Educational Access: Ensuring that no student is forced to drop out due to financial constraints.
