FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AKURE (FUTA) STUDENTS INVOLVED IN A GHASTLY ACCIDENT

5 students of FUTA were involved in an accident which occured yesterday along cathedral Bus-stop along Oba Adesina Road in Akure.

A 200L student identified as 9jaBazz has been confirmed Dead while 4 others are Badly injured and are currently receiving treatment under the intensive Care Unit (ICU).

According to reports, the 5 students were said to be coming back from a club which they had been on spirits (drinks) for hours and while returning to campus they were speeding at a very high velocity and crashed out uncontrollably.

The security operatives were said to have denied access to the students and attempt to call an ambulance was said to be futile as the ambulance department said ” there was no fuel in the bus”.
