The management of the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF LAFIA (FULAFIA) has officially announced the deadline for the payment of school fees and other approved charges for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an internal memorandum issued by the Academic Affairs Division on 15th July, 2026, all undergraduate students are required to complete the payment of their fees within the stipulated period to avoid disruptions to their academic activities.

School Fees Payment Deadline

The University has directed that all undergraduate students must pay their school fees and other prescribed charges on or before:

• Deadline: Friday, 24th July, 2026

Students are strongly advised to complete their payments before the deadline to remain eligible for subsequent academic processes.

Examination Card Collection

Following the payment of fees, students are also required to obtain their examination cards.

• Examination Card Collection Deadline: On or before the end of July 2026

The examination card is a compulsory requirement for participation in the second semester examinations.

Important Notice for NELFUND Beneficiaries

The University also issued an important directive to students benefiting from the NELFUND Student Loan Scheme.

According to the management, NELFUND beneficiaries are still expected to:

• Pay all prescribed school charges.
• Collect their examination cards before the examination period.

This requirement is necessary to enable the University’s Bursary Department to process their NELFUND refunds accordingly.

Strict Compliance Required

The memorandum, signed by Mustapha Hanafi-Idiaro, Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs Division), on behalf of the Registrar, emphasized that the directive is for strict compliance by all affected students.

Students are advised to avoid waiting until the last minute, as failure to comply with the payment deadline may affect examination clearance and other academic activities.
