The management of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA) has announced the postponement of the physical screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the University’s undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The decision was reached by the University’s Senate during its 41st Regular Meeting, held on Tuesday, 13th July, 2026, following deliberations on the admission process.

Reason for the Postponement

According to the University, the physical screening exercise has been postponed pending the official release of the 2026 WAEC results.

The postponement is intended to allow candidates awaiting their WAEC results adequate time to complete the admission screening process.

Online Screening Continues

While the physical screening has been postponed, the University has confirmed that the online screening exercise remains ongoing.

The online screening portal will remain open until one (1) week after the official release of the 2026 WAEC results, giving eligible candidates sufficient time to complete their applications and upload the necessary credentials.

New Date for Physical Screening

The University Management stated that a new date for the physical screening exercise will be announced after the online screening period has officially ended.

Candidates are therefore advised to regularly monitor the University’s official communication channels for updates regarding the revised screening schedule.
