FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, ZARIA ANNOUNCES SCREENING EXERCISE FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Congratulations on your admission to the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria! This is a major step toward your future in education. To make sure you are officially recognized as a student, the Academic Office has invited all new undergraduate students to participate in the Screening and Documentation Exercise.

This process is like a “check-in” where the university verifies that your papers are correct. Once you finish this, you will be a full member of the university community.

The Big Details: When and Where?

Make sure you are ready to start on time to avoid long queues.

• Start Date: Monday, 19th January, 2026.

• Location: The Academic Office of the University, FUE Zaria.

• Time: Usually begins in the morning (aim to be there by 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM).

Your Screening Checklist (The 13 Must-Haves)

You need to bring both the original documents and photocopies. It is a good idea to put the originals in one clear file and the photocopies in another to keep them organized.

From JAMB:

1. JAMB Slip and JAMB Result Slip: Showing your scores.

2. JAMB Admission Letter: The official one from the JAMB portal.

From the University:

3. University Admission Letter: Printed from the FUE Zaria portal.

4. Copy of Screening Form: This is the form you filled out during your application.

5. Evidence of Payment: Your receipt showing you paid the registration fee.

6. Registration Number: This must be printed from the University Portal.

Your Academic Results:

7. O’Level Results (For UTME Students): Your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB certificate/internet printout.

8. O’Level and NCE Certificates (For Direct Entry): If you are joining from another college.

9. Scratch Card: To help the officers verify your O’Level results online.

Your Personal Identity:

10. Birth Certificate: Or a legal declaration of age.

11. Certificate of Indigenization: To show which state and local government you are from.

12. Letter of Good Conduct: A letter from a respected person (like a principal, a religious leader, or a community head) saying you are a good person.

13. Passport Photographs: Six (6) very recent ones.
