FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, LOKOJA (FULOKOJA) EXTENDS POST-UTME APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has officially announced an extension for the ongoing 2025 Post-UTME online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This development comes as a relief to many prospective candidates who may have encountered delays or challenges during the earlier phase of the application process.

Initially, the deadline for the Post-UTME online screening was set for Friday, August 29, 2025. However, due to several considerations, including a high number of candidates yet to complete their screening and in response to appeals for more time, the University Senate has graciously approved an extension. The new closing date is now Friday, September 14, 2025.

This extension is aimed at giving all eligible candidates a fair opportunity to complete the screening process, especially those who may have faced issues such as late profile updates, incomplete documentation, or technical difficulties while trying to access the portal. Candidates who have not yet registered or finalized their screening are therefore encouraged to take full advantage of this grace period.

It is important to note that this will be the final extension, and as such, no further postponement will be entertained. The University emphasizes that any candidate who fails to complete the online screening within the new deadline will be automatically disqualified from the admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session, regardless of their UTME score.

To avoid last-minute rush and potential errors, candidates are advised to log on to the official university portal immediately to confirm their eligibility, upload their credentials, and complete all necessary steps. Proper care should be taken in inputting details such as UTME scores, O’level results, and other required data.
