The School of Pre-Degree Studies, Federal University Gusau (FUGUSAU) has officially commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the University’s Pre-Degree Programme, which is designed to prepare students for admission into various undergraduate degree programmes offered by the institution.

The programme provides candidates with the academic foundation required to gain admission into selected faculties and colleges of the University upon successful completion.

Available Faculties and Colleges

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress into undergraduate programmes in the following academic units:

• College of Health Sciences
• Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences
• Faculty of Dentistry
• Faculty of Science
• Faculty of Management Sciences
• Faculty of Social Sciences

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme, applicants must possess:

• A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes obtained in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS.
• The required credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant Science or Social Science subjects.

Candidates are advised to ensure they meet the admission requirements before applying.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants are required to purchase the application form online after making a non-refundable payment of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) through the Remita payment platform in favour of Federal University Gusau (FUGUSAU).

After successful payment, applicants should visit the University’s official Pre-Degree application portal to complete their online registration.

Candidates should follow these steps:

1. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 via Remita.
2. Visit the official FUGUSAU Pre-Degree portal at pdeg.fugusau.edu.ng.
3. Complete the online application form with accurate information.
4. Submit the application and print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
