FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, DUTSIN-MA (FUDMA) ANNOUNCES SECOND SEMESTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) has formally ratified the final timeline for the Second Semester 2025/2026 Academic Session registration. Acting on the explicit directives of the Vice-Chancellor, the Director of ICT, Dr. Muhammad Sani, has issued a high-priority advisory regarding the permanent closure of the university registration portal.
This announcement serves as the final window for all undergraduate and postgraduate students to regularize their academic status. The university maintains a strict “No Registration, No Examination” policy, and students are urged to treat this deadline with absolute urgency to avoid the loss of an entire academic session.
THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE AND PORTAL CLOSURE
The ICT Directorate has synchronized the portal to automatically deactivate at the conclusion of the specified date. No extensions are currently anticipated under the current administrative calendar.
-
Portal Closure Date: Thursday, 9th April, 2026.
-
Action Required: Completion of course registration, fee payment validation, and printing of the registration slip.
CONSEQUENCES OF NON-COMPLIANCE
The University Management has outlined severe academic sanctions for students who fail to meet the April 9th deadline. These measures are designed to ensure the integrity of the Continuous Assessment and Examination processes.
-
Ineligibility for Continuous Assessment (CA): Students who are not registered on the portal will not have their names generated on the official CA mark sheets. Without a CA score, a student cannot pass the course.
-
Forfeiture of Examination Rights: Unregistered students will be strictly prohibited from entering examination halls for the Second Semester finals.
-
Loss of Academic Standing: Failure to register effectively means the student is not recognized as “active” for the semester, which may lead to an automatic spill-over or withdrawal.
OFFICIAL CIRCULATION AND ENFORCEMENT
To ensure total institutional awareness, this directive has been officially circulated to the following administrative and student leadership offices:
-
Office of the Vice-Chancellor
-
Deans of Faculties and Heads of Departments (HODs)
-
Dean of Student Affairs
-
SUG President (for onward transmission to the student body)
CONCLUSION: FINAL CALL FOR REGISTRATION
With the Thursday, April 9th deadline approaching, students are encouraged to resolve any pending portal issues or financial clearances immediately. The Federal University Dutsin-Ma remains committed to a structured academic calendar, and your cooperation is essential for a hitch-free semester.
